County of San Diego Behavioral Health Plan

As a Behavioral Health Plan, the County of San Diego is committed to providing quality care to persons experiencing serious and persistent mental health problems and/or substance use disorders.

The San Diego Access & Crisis Line (ACL) at 1-888-724-7240 offers immediate support and resources from an experienced counselor 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on all behavioral health topics including: suicide prevention, crisis intervention, community resources, mental health referrals, substance use disorder support services and more. Language interpreters to over 200 languages may be enabled within seconds. The ACL is a 988 Suicide and Crisis Line Partner.

Behavioral Health Services (BHS) are available to persons with Medi-Cal or without health insurance, including children, young people, adults, and older adults in San Diego County. Confidential services may be accessed using the Searchable Provider Directory or by calling the ACL at 1-888-724-7240.
